P & L Motorsports 13mm Headstuds were engineered to provide increased clamping force for high boost and high compression engines. A must for those running more than 30psi and/or 9:1 compression ratios. We have tested these on our 800+ whp Subaru applications up to 45psi with no head gasket failures. Whether you're building a street monster or a high performance race engine, these are a crucial component!
Specs:
- Made from ARP2000 material
- Capable of achieving clamp loads in the 215,000-220,000 psi range
- 13 mm body diameter (3.6 mm more than current ARP stud)
- 110 ft/lb torque spec
- Larger 24.5 mm/o.d. washer for increased clamping area
- Broached hex on top of stud for easy install
- 2 taps provided for ease of installation. (starter and bottoming)

Applications:
- EJ series DOHC engines US/JDM/EURO spec
Note: Block and Cylinder head must be drilled and tapped. Professional installation by machine shop is highly recommended.
